ekoPracownia – the green heart of the school
Project co-financed by the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Gdańsk and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

We are pleased to inform you that since October, we have opened an eco-workshop – THE GREEN HEART OF THE SCHOOL. Thanks to funding from the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Gdańsk and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, the school received kits for conducting workshops on renewable energy sources. The funding amounted to 67,500 PLN.
In addition to learning about the possibilities of generating electricity from wind, solar rays, or with the help of a crank, the kit also addresses energy storage and supercapacitors. Thanks to the various fuel cells included in the kit, students can compare their properties. The kit includes a salt water fuel cell, a hydrogen PEM fuel cell, and a direct ethanol fuel cell. We are delighted that these kits will enhance the creative teaching opportunities for nature, geography, physics, chemistry, and experiments.
